Volunteer

  • How can I volunteer?

There are so many ways to support survivors through volunteering.  Here are a few examples below!

    Biggest needs:

    • On call / support survivors
    • Event support

     Other needs:

    • Clerical office support
    • Social media
    • Brochures (print and fold)
    • Pull weeds at safe home
    • Paint
    • Clean
    • Help survivors move furniture and more

Due to the nature of our services, a background check is a requirement.

  • Can I bring friends to volunteer with me?

Volunteering is even more meaningful when shared with friends. At Willow Rising, we welcome individuals and groups to join us in making a difference for those we serve. Please note that some volunteer opportunities may require a background check prior to participation.

  • Where do you volunteer?

There are many ways to get involved and make an impact! Volunteers can help in our office and donation areas, assist with community events, support client needs through organizing supplies or meals, or help with outreach and awareness activities throughout the community.

Whether you have a few hours to give or want to be part of an ongoing project, there’s a place for you at Willow Rising.
