No one should have to walk alone
Willow Rising assures that victims have everything they need to create a safe and strong life for themselves and their families. Our service areas include Hall, Hamilton, Howard & Merrick Counties in the State of Nebraska.
Domestic violence affects us all
Willow Rising provides vital educational and preventative services for the Hall, Howard, Hamilton, and Merrick County communities. Our goal is to raise awareness about issues of power, control and the severity of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
Many women, men, and children are affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking in the communities that surround us. Our goal is to be proactive in raising awareness about our services and the crisis's we deal with.
Our youth advocate provides training and learning opportunities for children of all ages. The advocate shares information about healthy relationships and help them understand what dating violence is and the environments it can take place in (including schools, youth groups, and more).
Our adult education and prevention advocate works with community members, other human service organizations, law enforcement agencies, businesses and the community at large on a variety of training opportunities.
This advocate is also responsible for all of the support groups that we hold for clients of Willow Rising. These groups focus on everything from self-care, self-esteem to safety planning. You must complete an intake with our Adult Education and Prevention advocate in order to qualify for these services.
Willow Rising offers Abuser Intervention Programs (AIP) at our organization. These programs are intended for the perpetrator/abuser and help individuals stop the violence and abuse that is destroying their relationships with partners, children, family members and the community they reside in.
These courses are often ordered to be attended for probation or parole; however, individuals can determine that these intervention type classes are needed privately as well. There is a cost associated with this service.
Willow Rising is always looking for support through donations and volunteering. Find out more about how you can change lives in our community.
